In the ED, people here in the south have a lot of vomikkin' instead of vomiting (after they are nauserated, of course) and they get "pancre-itis" instead of pancreatitis. And like Annie (dollydoodle) said, after saying it wrong a bunch of times (in jest), it becomes hard to say it right again! There are many, many more...in fact there are whole web sites dedicated just to the funny stuff people say in the ED...but those are among my top 5.
