I have never used a collar nor do I recommend using one when I am covering the care of a pup or adult. I advise the new mom to take the doggy to the pet store with her BUT NEVER PUT THE BABY ON THE FLOOR! There are too many sick animals who walk around and you never know what your baby can pick up. Anyhow, that is the only way I know of that you can fit the proper HARNESS on a Yorkie..I know you can take measurements but I am just not good at that..I would take a crate and bring your newbie home in a crate. Then you can take your time about buying a harness unless you live where you will have to take baby on a leash as soon as you get her.. |
