 Puppy with dandruff
Hello all,
I have a 4 month old puppy who is eating Blue Buffalo Freedom (the blue bag). I had him on Blue Buffalo Small Breed Puppy (pink bag) but he was so itchy all the time! We found a flea and immediately got Frontline and cured that. Its been about two weeks since and he still is always itchy. I thought he may be allergic to grain so i switched from the pink blue buffalo to the freedom bag and haven't seen any improvement. I stopped using Baby Shampoo and now have an oatmeal shampoo ive been using. Im trying to avoid taking him into the vet for the 10th time. First an ear infection, then a skin reaction, then worms, and so on. He's been a difficult little guy these two months. I just feel so bad when he stops playing to itch himself like crazy. I may just be paranoid but his skin looks really red on his belly too. I heard child benadryl may help but I'm hesitant on using it. Any suggestions? |
