To bring in such qualities into the breed even if she's on the bigger side .
I don't hide the sizes of my dogs nor make my buyers think any of my dogs will be either smaller or bigger just to sell . Sorry to hear your dog got on the bigger side if you expected a smaller dog . Which I'm sure is beautiful and the perfect companion. They still make wonderful pets , reason I am selling them as such and at a fair price hopefully to bring some joy into someone's life or family with children . Hope this satisfies your curiosity, yes Biewer are awesome ... Big or small
I admire your honesty. Obviously, by stating this little guy is already 5 lbs at 12 wks., you are alerting potential buyers to his most likely "bigger than standard" size. There was someone on the list looking for a larger sized yorkie - don't know if she's connected with you or not about this guy (since you didn't list larger size in your title, she may not have looked).

Do all your customers stay in touch to keep you up to date with sizes of the pups as adults? That would be impressive, too -- I've never said anything to our breeder about our lil guy's size, so she wouldn't know he's bigger than breed standard.

And he's just our lovable pup - family pet, pampered and doted on, no desire to breed or show -- so his weight is mostly a running joke for us, as we named him after a very large NFL football player -- we say that's why he got to be super-sized!
