Sometimes it says that because it uploads it so fast, but if you can look and see that it has uploaded. I left a message on your profile page, now your profile picture is gone, but your avatar is working fine. Remember, the profile picture is different from your avatar, it will only show on your profile page. You can find them both under user CP, but profile picture is under "profile" and avatar is under "settings and options."
