I can so relate to this!
I watched for all kinds of signs of labour starting and Bella had NONE (she had a little poop incontinence but that didnt mean much without everything else I was expecting).She had obviously been in labour before suddenly franticly digging and then pushing imediately, but she was laying peacefully on the couch next to me as she normally would so I never even suspected it.She just suddenly started panting at 7pm and I had just enough time to get her into my room and throw some towels on my bed (she refused to have anytjng to do with her whelping box) and at 7:30pm she had her first pup, and 2 hours after that, she was done (she had 3 pups)
I was expecting a few hours (at the least) of contractions and digging and panting etc, NOTHING
