I use Advantix II also, but I've heard a lot of good things about some of the new flea collars. So many of the older ones were toxic, so it's difficult for me to get past my fears about them, but that doesn't mean they are all toxic now. My dear friend's vet recommended them to her, and although she had terrible problems with ticks in the past, even with using Advantix II, her crew are doing really wellwith either the Scalibor or the Seresto collars, although she much prefers the Seresto ones. These collars were tested for a long time I n Europe and New Zealand before being brought to the U.S. Her dog who had terrible allergies to Advantix II and the Scalibor collar is doing great with the new Seresto collar.
