I trained Jasper on potty pads with no problem of him trying to eat them. Then we bought the tray to hold the pads. I did not think he would use it. The 2nd evening we were hfinishing up some things in the master bath. This is where his tray with the pad in it was. He walked over to it and smelled it. He stepped. So I told him "Jasper tee tee" ...so he took a couple of turns and peed on it. Even the Contractors were there. So we are all there.
poor Jasper he probably has tee tee or poo poo anxiety after that. Lol
