Thanks for the responses! I got Lola when she was about 7 weeks old so i've had her for awhile now.
To answer some other questions that were asked.. There are two members in my household- my fiancé and I, so no kids. Between him and I someone is home with her majority of the time. Twice a week she is home alone for about six hours while we are both at work. Other than that one of us is home or in and out running errands through out the day, etc.. When we are gone she is in a crate and she is wonderfully crate trained I might add! I know of some dogs that are terrified and wont go in a crate for nothing! However, she likes hers!
Lola has had all of her puppy shots, 4 boosts of her parvo/ distemper combination vaccination and she just recently got her rabies vaccination (after the fact).
She has always been kind of scared of noises but never to this extent... So I am hoping that she will learn to adapt to different noises. For an example, she doesn't like to vacuum what-so-ever! (I'm sure this is common..) but I don't know whether to still vacuum when she's around or wait until when she's not around. I usually do it when she's not around. Same with the blow dryer, I go in a completely different room and shut the door so its not as loud to her.
Ahh! I am so unsure of what I should do to help her..
