I can't help but think about baking when the weather starts cooling down. The smell of fresh baked muffins or bread filling the house is sooo heavenly. Besides the usual standbys of banana, zucchini, and pumpkin do you have a favorites you like to bake? Do you like a filling? How about a crumbly topping?
I love anything coconut or cinnamon but I haven't found "the one" yet, it has to be light, not heavy, and moist, so the hunt is still on.
I've made a decent cranberry /nut muffin and some pretty good date /nut bread (of course it's smeared with cream cheese
) but I really need to find some more goodies to add to my files.
