Yes, I can edit, save. cut, copy, but haven't tried to print - printer unhooked - but it I tell it to print, the program says "Now printing" in a window for a few seconds which then disappears. What I can't do is have the option of opening a New Word Document - program only offers Rich Text Format - so until I call Microsoft Support and find out what else to do, I just copied a bunch of old New Word Documents to use. Several people on the web have said Microsoft Support tech helped them through this problem and others didn't get much help from an MS tech. So if no success with one, I'm calling again if I decide I want to try to regain the option of getting a New Word Document to open up. Or just keep looking on the web for answers. Someone will post an answer to just about everything eventually.
