So, I know a problem with puppies leaving their siblings and family early is learning social behaviors and not to bite, etc.
Well, I'm trying to teach Cherry not to bite. She is ALWAYS trying to bite hands.
I yelp and take my hand away, which works
sometimes. But a lot of the time, she just starts growling and trying to bite more. I've also tried tapping her on the nose and that doesn't work either. When we play, I use toys, but she always tries to grab my hand, not the toy. I put the toy in her mouth, but she jumps and tries to bite me instead of the toy, especially when she's super excited and has lots of energy. I've tried picking her up by the nape like mama does and then saying NO, but she just goes bonkers.
Is this just a puppy stage? Or is this the start of a serious problem? Any other tips for me? Her teeth are getting SHARP!
