Hello, newbie here

My little girl turned 5 months old today. She is my first yorkie, and I have no clue if her hair is silky or a cotton coat - can anyone tell from the pictures? I used the flash on the camera, but her eyes just look dark!

I have been reading and a lot of people mentioned that the they have noticed their puppy's hair on their head is oily... I'm finding that true with Lucy. I can bathe her and the next day it looks oily! But I am trying to condition her to grooming, and brush her everyday. I spray her with detangle spray, but the hair on her head is far more difficult to get a comb or brush through. It's not matted, it just snags..? thoughts
