Yes , made in Maryland .. I actually did a lot of research and talking to the company before deciding on this food..
The 6.6 lb bag which is what I started with does have a zip lock..
The bigger bags do not .. I keep mine in the bag in airtight plastic tub..
I never pour my dog food out of the bag..
I realize this will not be the food for everyone but I will be posting reviews for anyone interested
