I just put the date beside the Heartgard sticker on my Day Planner and then note the name of the medication(Heartgard), time given & initial it once he's taken it. I keep my yearly Day Planners so it's a record over the years of all of his doses going back to Dose #1 and the dates/times given. Long-term, consistent records like that can even be used in court cases as long as kept up regularly over time.
