And when you get the chip, be certain that your vet's clinic loaded in all the correct info onto the website with all your phone contacts. Mine didn't and had Tibbe listed as something other than a Yorkie - can't recall now what it was - and the wrong vet clinic phone number was listed, of all things. When I checked it after Hurricane Sandy, lots of info was just missing, had to update.
