If you already tested for giardia & it was confirmed, no need to test again (unless the new vet wants to, just trying to give you suggestions so you can use the money wisely to help Bunny & you can use it to have her blood tested. It will tell how all her organs are working properly or not). Just have the 1st vet office fax over the info to the new vet. Giardia is very hard to get rid of & can recur. Simply putting the shoes away will not kill it, it must be cleaned w/bleach solution & everywhere you stepped on & that she has stepped on, must be cleaned. CDC - Giardia - Giardia and Pets |
No shoes are allowed in the house since then and yes I always mop with bleach but wouldnt it be smart to do giardia test since giardia meds will be done tonight to see if the medications worked or not
