When letting Punkin and Lilly out to potty (we have a nice size fenced in back yard) Tank would run around the fence line as fast as he could so punkin wouldn't get the critters first. And punkin would bark his little head off. It was too cute....but Tank would take off before I even had the door open. now he sits there or doesn't even acklowledge that the door is open. And my little lilly is having a bad day today...all she wants to do is sleep, she is use to aggrivating him and jumping all over him. She is normally full of energy. if she continues like this I will have to take her to the vet.
Pick her up and hold her, talk gently to her and love on her. She's missing her best friend too. Take her to do something she loves to do. My boys LOVE walks, I mean they LIVE for them. My mom thinks its so funny, she's never seen dogs SO eager for a walk in her life. I know if something (god forbid) happened to one of mine, I'd take the other for 3 walks a day if it helped snap him out of his depression even for just the length of the walk.
