Welcome to YT!! Glad to have you and your sweet girl Chevy.

Did you ever take her into the Vet after that to get looked at? Xray? These skulls on these babies are so fragile, especially at a young age.

Since she is 5 years old, I would definitely run some pre op blood work, as well as a standard wellness exam. I would most definitely get her head examined. Maybe even an Xray… or MRI. If the head injury is something that is stressing you out, then you should take all precautions in making sure she is ok. Just because she doesn't have any signs or symptoms doesn't necessary mean everything is ok.

Just a thought, my friends Yorkie Delilah. She had a head injury a long time ago. My friend ended up re homing her, she gave her to me so I could find a home. We gave her to my husband’s co worker. Well one night she was running and slipped on the floor. She fell flat on her head and knocked out. He quickly ran to her and tried to wake her up, he was performing CPR, He was able to get her to come to and her eyes kept rolling back. They rushed her to the ER Vet and they ran all these tests on her along with an ultra sound. The Vet found a very old skull/brain injury- he said it was maybe 4 years old- she is 6. He said when she fell she hit that old injury dead on and it made her knock out. All her tests came out normal.. They have stopped her from running on the wood floor, they put rugs around with sticky tape on them so they don’t move.

If they weren't home she would have died. So brain/ skull injuries are nothing to mess with. If I were you I would cover all her bases to make sure she can go under anesthesia without any issues. I would not put her under without running tests first.
