There are different kinds of rude. I think part of his response is a gimmick -- everyone expects him to behave differently, hardcore, rather than politely saying he is not interested in investing. I think he was being honest, he doesn't understand clothes on a dog and didn't see how this woman's products were different than the tons of other "dog crap" out there, lol.
