I actually had a co-worker say that Edie was a "starter dog" and that I would want a bigger one next time around!!
He was joking, of course.
Yes, everyone thinks I am crazy regarding my little dog, but most people love her almost as much as I do. My family, who never had dogs, is just wild about her. Edie goes to work with me, and sometimes I will go into an engineer's office and will see her sitting on his lap while he taps away at his computer. She has become a part of the office landscape, and people miss her when she is not there.
So I am not alone in my craziness.
