I also know a champion german sheppard breeder.She also shows her dogs.LOTS of people buy her puppies and breed them also.Here, people donīt see breeding contracts as protection, infact, if they exsisted, people like Ana (from La Villa y Corte) would never be able to sell their pups. yes  |
yay glad that all the placentas passed. Is Bella still panting? It could be that she's too warm, or it could be that she might have a small infection, it's common after giving birth. I would get the vet to check her out asap. IDK if you do well checks for the puppies once they're born, vet checks for cleft palette, any hernias, etc. You can now start giving her calcium supplements if vet says it's ok. Dawn gave you a good link as to why she could be panting.
Wow it's a shame that anyone can breed these dogs over there. Are there even any health & genetic testing done on the breeding dogs? How is the homeless dog population over there? Here, it is awful, thousands of cats & dogs die everyday, about 1 every 11 seconds are put down to rest in shelters.
