Our most reputable and famous breeder right now is this one:
La Villa y Corte Yorkshire Terrier
They are in Madrid (though they ship here to the island). She has 3 generations of world champions and 16 generations of stud champions in her lines. Her dogs
are expensive (to us of course, to you maybe they arent so much) and even
she doesnt have a breeding contract.I know this because my mentor has bought 2 dogs from her (just recently a boy who she will use as a stud once he is older) and the female she brought from her 3 years ago is currently pregnant.People who buy her pups often end up showing them too, or using the males as studs, and due to the champion bloodlines, the people who own these puppies ask for ALOT of money. So no, even the best and most reputable donīt tend to have a contract of any kind because it is considered that once you buy a dog, the rights belong to the new owner
I also know a champion german sheppard breeder. She also shows her dogs.LOTS of people buy her puppies and breed them also. Here, people donīt see breeding contracts as protection, infact, if they exsisted, people like Ana (from La Villa y Corte) would never be able to sell their pups.
