hi and welcome to yt. have you tried any training classes with him? to re-expose him to dogs in a more controlled environment? i wish i had more advice to offer...i can understand why he would be upset and defensive after being attacked. as a yorkie owner it is one of my worst fears. i hope others will chime in with advice.
