Such an interesting case / doggie here, it'll be very interesting to see what happens with that biopsy. Made me remember that sometimes, mites will later burrow under the skin - so that a skin scraping will show negative for mites, but if a biopsy is done, it'd show the mites present. But still, why so localized?

I wouldn't worry too much about Cushings...I only mentioned it bc chronic skin issues can be a sign of undiagnosed Cushings, and that was one of the cardinal signs for my Wylie. Unless your kiddo has other symptoms, I would doubt it's Cushings...but still, had to mention it just in case she did have other odd symptoms.
