Oh trust me the "blindness" of having puppies is so hard to resist!!! All those cute little button nose babies and kiss's are so wonderful, till you have a baby that has a genetic fault or dies at birth and so many more things can and do go wrong. Then who takes the responsibility for the vet bills or anything else that is needed to care for that sick pup??
I am so glad you came here to ask your question before the mating took place and please do not let the other lady pressure you into going forward with it. A good breeder does not hook up with a stranger in a store to arrange a breeding for her female if she is breeding for the right reason.
