And it does not only fall on the female and whelping and raising of the pups. You are a partner in this to make sure that everything goes as planned and willing to take responsibility for anything that goes wrong. I do hope you made the right decision to not follow through with this breeding. And to contact your vet to have your boy checked out and neutered for his own health.
