Sounds like you may not have had a Yorkie before...

Surprises...umm, maybe I should have said "amazement".
The Yorkshire is unique within the K9 world...
Many judge intelligence on how many tricks a Dog can do, or how well they do agility. Some Yorkies do well at those, but one need to look beyond the physical functions, and realize that you don't just have a little actor, but a genuine companion, who will grow to understand YOU.
The terms intuition and clairvoyance come to mind, when I think of the individual unique personalities of our little guys. I've had/raised Dogs of many breeds for over 60 years now, and I have yet to have any, which even got close to matching.
If you're looking just for a wiggly furball, then get anything you want, but...
If you're looking for a relationship, get a Yorkie. |     !!! |
