When loose leash walking in the yard she learns "drop it" and "leave it" with leaves she wants to eat and or EVERYTHING else she wants to taste( stones , nuts , twigs, bugs) with a tug , a command and a treat at first , now it's just the commands..she is just glad to be outdoors...
Will "go get it" when I throw anything and bring it back.....outdoors she really likse an empty water bottle smashed so she can bite it, with a few rocks in it for weight to rattle and so it will toss better...
It's different than indoor toys....
Try attaching an elastic band around a chair top or banister with a "grabby "toy on the end....let it hang just above their head ....Zoey goes crazy .....first thing she plays with in the morning and last thing at night...
Any other ideas out there? She is always up for new stimulation...
