My breeder lives about 45 minutes from me, so I visited mine ALOT.
I started visiting when they were almost 2 weeks old, and then we´d go back every week right up until we brought them home
I have
tons of pics holding mine from just 3 weeks old upwards.
All we were asked to do for sanitary reasons is take off our shoes, wash our hands and
not take our children.
It´s the norm to visit your pup/s if you want here, and it helps make the wait easier too
I have had 5 yorkies (including Milo & Bella) and I visited them ALL from a
very early age.I think those first weeks are precious, and by the time they came home, they were so used to being with me that the transition was easy
The week before we came home with them, we took a blankie and put it in the whelping box with mother and pups, and that was what they snuggled up to once they were here at home
