 How often can/did you visit your puppy before they came home?
I'm just curious to know how often people went and saw their little ones before they took them home.
Many sound like the breeder is so far away, that they just can't visit often, and get weekly pictures, but only visit once or twice.
If your breeder was close by, did/could you visit more?
The breeder I believe we're going to go with literally lives a couple of streets away from us in the same development. I have this idea in my head that because she is so close, I will get to visit my baby often, but am not sure if this is allowed or common.
I mean, I don't know a lot about the breeding and the puppies when they are very young/newborn. I'm not asking to go see it the day it was born or anything drastic, but am wondering if it is okay for the puppy to see you so much that early on or if they are allowed visitors at all early on?
Would I be prying if I wanted to go once a week or so? I plan to ask my breeder for her exact take on this as she knows we live so close to each other, but wanted to hear some experiences with you all! |
