Dog auctions have been going on for many decades (sadly) but have decreased and actually have disappeared in many states due to laws and internet sales. easy access.via petfinder,petstores etc....etc...etc...Much work still needs to be done; however, in stopping this horrid business of auctioning dogs.
Yes you are right much work needs to be done with puppymills, auctions, unethical breeding...byb's petstores, brokers, craigslist, ebay etc...we all have to keep up the fight and do our part. |
