Well I have to say my human kids also went for a period where they didn't like clothes either and proceeded to take them off and run around naked. If it was an okay situation for it I let them, if it was not they had to learn to wear them.So if your dog doesn't have to wear it then by all means let him run around free but if he or she needs them or you just want a couple pics then by all means do it and then reward them and then take off. I think dogs just like kids have to learn some things may not be what they want but they have to adapt. I agree to take it slow though. Maybe just a little Velcro thing to start with no arm/leg holes, then slowly work your way up..Jess didn't like them at first either so I gave up for a while. I just put a prisoner costume on her today and she was fine. Its amazing how they change over time. Intolerable things one month may mean nothing the next..hmmm..just like human kids
