About tee tree oil, it's only toxic if the pet ingests the oil in pure essential form (100%). Just a few drops can kill a cat or small dog & severely poison bigger dogs.

Shampoos that use tee tree oil, the oil is diluted & deemed safe. It has antifungal & antibacterial properties. I would avoid anything where the pet has to ingest the product w/any essential oil(s) in it, like toothpaste, teeth wipes or water additives, etc.
