I keep hearing the 12 week thing, and almost all of the breeders I've found have their "Take home date" set as 8-10 weeks!
It is irritating me because I feel like they mustn't be the best breeders, or they just don't care about the puppies health?
Kind of irritating, but when I do decide on the pup, I am going to request the breeder holds on to her for the extra two weeks at least for my peace of mind if nothing else. A lot of them insist that the puppies are fine and ready to go, but I'd rather be safe than sorry!!
