LOL Zoey's scared of flies too. She'd go behind the couch to hide or anywhere she thinks the fly won't be. Just the opposite, Magnus catches them when it flies low enough.
I saw a fly flying in front of him and Magnus nipped at it. It was gone... I jokingly said, "did you catch it? Are you practicing to be in the movie 'karate dog'? hahaha"
Then saw him spit something out... I freaked out b/c he was trying to put it in his mouth again. I really didn't think he actually caught it.
Anyway, whenever there's a fly, like you I try to catch it. But after I catch it, I show it to Zoey to let her know that it's caught and will be gone. Otherwise, she won't come back out...
Have you tried those electric fly swatters? I think those are supposed to kill on contact so you don't necessarily have to smack them... |
