The friend who raised my Yorkie said breeders of Yorkie pups should try to wait until about 13-14 weeks to Let them leave their mom as they can develop blood sugar problems since they are a small dog breed. I know Taffy was 14 weeks when I got him, his brother had gone home two days before, and the two 'smaller female pups' from her second Momma Yorkie (who were a week older) went home at 14 weeks, since they were littler than Taffy & his brother. |
