Surgeon just called and said Rocco did well and she did not have to remove his front teeth!!!
However, after removing the tumor the roots are a bit exposed but she hopes that the gums settle down to cover them up, and his teeth were nice and strong still. No other tumors or abnormalities in his mouth, and he had a bit of tartar that was removed (she did a full dental). She is a little concerned because even benign tumors are not often seen in a dog his age (3yrs 9 months), and will be awaiting the results of the path report. Have to call after 3pm to see when he is ready to be picked up...
