what kind of vomiting does she do? the whole kibble vomiting (stil kibbles in its form) or yellow vomiting? My bei was on royal canin and he wasn't on the top of himself. Meaning if he didn't have the mood to eat for 15 hrs (like many fussy yorkies do) he would throw up yellow liquid.
And if he ate too much, he would also throw up full-formed RC kibbles as he didn't chew and just swallowed the whole kibble. Now I've just changed his food to Orijen as he also continued licking his paw with royal canin. Now he doesn't even throw up anymore even when he was moody and skipped eating for 28 hrs (jeez could you imagine that).
But of course I have to pay full attention to her portion. The orijen says 60-75 for less active 5 kgs dog like mine but I give him only 50-55gr max to avoid runny stools as Orijen is a really high quality food and rich in ingredients (I think that's how he no longer vomits even when he doesn't eat the whole day).
But of course before changing totally, I would mix first 75:25 RC and Orijen and also I reduced it day by day til he got totally adapted with Orijen within 5-7 days.
But I'd say try to observe the condition and consider taking ur vet suggestion just to make sure.
But I'd say Orijen and Royal Canin cost more or less the same but the quality is too different. I personally wouldn't turn away from Orijen, or maybe Acana regional (grain free too like orijen) sometimes just for a change (they are from the same company).
I hope they would be always available in Italy. In Italy I have only 3 famous high quality worldwide brands: Acana, Orijen, and TOTW. I considered TOTW as it's also 5 stars and much cheaper but it consists ethoxyquin...
Had seen good reviews on blue buffalo, merrick, nature's variety, and wellness but they are not available either online or offline in stores, so I'd stick with acana and orijen only...
