Seriously though.... she's having separation anxiety. When my boys were pups (I got them at 9 weeks old also) I crated them also. They slept a lot but during the time I was home, they were confined to the room I was in, and watched like a hawk to not pee in the house. At night, I would put them in their crate, with a nice warm blanket, a stuffed toy and I would hide a little ticking clock in their crate. Then I would cover their crate with a dark blanket that didn't let light in. It would be dark, warm and the ticking reminds them of their mother's heartbeat, it helps to relax them. This worked like a charm!

Such great advice. When I get my puppy I'm going to do the warm blanket, dark crate and a ticking toy... Great idea!!!
