I was brushing Gizmo's teeth last night, like I do every night, and I noticed his teeth in the back were getting very dirty. So, I have an appointment on Thursday for a dental tech to evaluate him and discuss when to schedule the blood work and cleaning.

Normally, I'm not nervous, but I am this time. Despite being very diligent with his teeth, it feels like I failed Gizzyman. I've gotten dentals for my other dogs,but it was when I was living with my family, and usually wasn't there to pick the pup up. I'm taking the day off for his teeth cleaning (working from home) and I think, like any "surgery" I'll just have to keep an eye on him.

Any pearls of wisdom?
