 Was just offered Priscilla's biological sister
I got Priscilla on 09/03/2013 from a sweet lady and her daughter that let their Yorkie and Maltese have a litter of pups to see what they would look like. This was before I knew anything about back yard breeders and genetics, so please don't mention that because I know I should have educated myself before I jumped into it. I seen the mother and daughter today, along with Priscilla's mother, father, and sister, while on a walk with Priscilla. The lady and her daughter were amazed at how pretty Priscilla was. All three of their dog's coats were in poor condition, really dull, coarse, and just not pleasant looking at all. They began asking me what shampoo I use and then found out they use dish washing liquid, and feed them Beneful. They offered Priscilla's sister to me free of charge, and I almost accepted, but didn't. Priscilla is in great health, she gets a clean bill of health at every vet visit, and I'm blessed that she turned out so healthy. On the way home I was upset with myself and was having an inward battle over not taking her sister. I know for me it was the right thing to do, and i didn't want to risk getting her and her having health problems.
However it was great to what a good shampoo, conditioner, and food can do for their coat! |
