Linzy, thanks so much for posting this, the last line of the poem made me cry.
I also want to mention how important training classes can be for those who already know how to train their dog. I've been to many classes & know what to do (for the most part). But I hired an in home trainer for Stan who has fear issues, & she's taught me so much. I also enrolled Phoebe in a class @ petco for socialization & never realized how much I needed it lol! Even though I know what to do, the class has really motivated me to practice & train more at home. It made me realize that knowing it & practicing it are worlds apart! I'm so proud of the progress my babies are making! My family is getting tired of hearing me say "look what Phoebe/Stanley can do!" I had forgotten how much fun training can be! |
