I think it is worth growing out too.........I love the long hair on Yorkies. I have had Mojo's hair cut in a puppy cut with a visor cut over his eyes....they can still wear a bow with that cut too. Bows look great in their hair....and I think it depends on how they are put in, if they get all knotted and such. Hope this helps.
