Question First attemp at a new design/ cool weather harness vest.

Well I finally finished the coat/harness vest I was working on. Its made from flannel with a regular cotton backing. I did ok until I got carried away at the end and didn't place the harness strap in the right place and it went all wobbly on me, darn it. But, I like it and I think its a nice change from the straight line vest plus gives some added warmth to their little rumps.

This one was given to my DD's BF's pup Buddy who at the moment is shaved and is in need of a nice vest to keep him warm.

I'm undecided whether I should continue doing a sewn color or use Velcro. It's not a stretchy material so Idk. I tried it on Ruby and it went around her head ok. The opening is 9" wide and can be adjusted if needed.

What do you all think ?
