Our Graysee gets me up EVERY morning around 5:15-5:30AM; never fails! If I happen to be awake before she is, I won't let on that I'm awake, and I'll just let her go through her ritual. She starts off by sitting up and letting out a couple of "squeaks", then maybe a little growl or two; then, if I haven't yet responded, that escalates into small, then louder, barks. Then, when she realizes that I'm awake, she burrows under my arm (as I sleep on my side), and gets to my neck, and begins licking like crazy! If I don't then arise to take her out, she'll jump all over me. It's thoroughly impossible to stay asleep when she wants to get up!!
