This is not the best info I've seen here, Yorkies are dogs first and yes they most certainly do have pack mentality, I've seen it first hand, I have 3. They are not wild wolves but their instinct for being pack dogs is still very evident.
Ignoring bad behaviors will never help to train a Yorkie.
