I started with scrunchies first. They were easy to put in and take out. Gaeln was not a happy camper in the beginning with top knots. Now, I tell him top knot and he puts down his head so I can put it in. Sometimes he still likes to mess it up. I also only use bows when I go out. I got some wonderful bows from my SB. Very rock and roll
