My sons girlfriend stayed in our home to watch our pups many years ago. One of my babies was terrified by thunder & bolted. My sons GF (ex now). Decided not to tell us because she didn't want to ruin our trip! It was two weeks of agony before a teenager saw our ad & brought her home to us. The sweet kid had found her and was feeding her in her fenced in yard. My poor baby was a mess from spending 2 weeks outside! Now my guys always travel with me if a family member can't be home.
