For all of you that travel with your Yorkie, do you have any recommendations? I've read that you shouldn't drug your dog (but I would love to lol) while traveling just because you don't' know how your dog with react with higher altitudes. The vet said to give her benadryl, however she never recommended a dosage. I don't know how long before the flight i should give it to her. The flights are usually 2 hours long.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Layla is going to be 2 in July, 5.0lbs, and a diva!
I've flown with my boys multiple times and I always give them 2mls of children's benedryl right when I get to the airport, before getting out of the car. Ive flown them from NH to NM, and the layover is in Ohare, so it's 2.5 hours each leg of the flight. If they are still really antsy during the layover, I give them another 2 mls of benedryl.
